Thankfully Theresa let me know that I've been shirking my blog responsibilities...so here it goes. We are moving to Hawaii, and man has it seemed like a long time coming. We did end up buying a house and will be in debt the rest of our natural born lives, but heh, now everyone has a place to stay when they come. By the way, the first visitor receives a special gift and plaque for actually following through on their promise to come visit us.
The picture is of Juliann and her new best friend, a snake.
Big D and I finished school. We're officially edu-ma-cated now, Dawn with her Master of Science, a Clinical Nurse Specialist, and I've also finished an MS in Informatics (health care and technology). Juliann sadly had to say good bye to all of her great friends and teachers at Apple Tree. I would highly recommend them to anyone. After school we spent a few weeks down at Grandma Julie's house in Burlington. Now that everything's done in Iowa City we're off to see everyone else, starting in South Dakota. Grandma Rose and Grandpa Lefty were very exited to see the miniature Seeley person (I guess Grandpa Lefty doesn't really get exited, but we all know the truth...he's doing cartwheels behind that stern inquisitive look). We also had a good chance to visit with Aunt Ashley and Cousin Anna. Juliann really enjoys being around Anna, someone who she can play with and boss around all at the same time. Juliannn also made the rounds by seeing her cousin Aleigha (Jessy and Kyle's beautiful little girl who is a year younger than Juliann but the same size).
In addition to making the rounds down in Southeastern South Dakota, we also got the chance to spend the day at the Zoo (after eating some really good pizza at Tomacelli's in Sioux Falls) with Craig, Theresa, and Micah Nelson. Micah's built up some speed and talks to just about anyone that will listen. That was a great day. Now that we've seen all of our buddies in South Dakota we're off to the West with Hawaii as our final stop.
Take care, we'll check in later...

Hey there!! Nice to see you were paying attention!! LOL
Ok, that daughter of yours is braver than I, No way would I be sitting that close to a snake! Little or not, she is one tough cookie!!
I hope your travels continue to go well. We are jealous as always and we hope to visit. I highly doubt we will be the first one so I guess I will have to live without the snake picture. DANG IT!
So, yeah I was totally left out of the "seeing our buddies in South Dakota". Better not happen next time! :)
